# Vitae

> Your CV stays yours, with the same career facts in Norwegian and English. For a candidate applying in two languages, Vitae keeps one career story true in both CV editions, with the facts and files still yours. You and your AI add roles together, check dates and structure, recover earlier entries and make typeset PDFs. You choose publication and can export JSON Resume data.

## Rules for agents

- Use the owner’s facts; never invent experience. Prefer paired role tools, then parity_check.
- Use stable entry keys from cv_get. Parity checks structure, not translation quality.
- cv_import replaces an edition: validate first and pass current expect_source_hash.
- Published CVs reveal email, phone and city; relay_set hides nothing. Explain visibility before sharing.
- Photo visibility is per edition. Unpublishing blocks links, not downloaded copies.
- cv_render returns metadata; cv_pdf_link supplies URLs. Check public_resolves.

## Not for

- No guarantee of ATS acceptance, hiring outcomes or automatic achievement writing.
- No built email-forwarding relay and no switch to hide individual contact fields on a published CV.
- Unpublishing cannot recall files somebody already downloaded.
- parity_check does not assess the quality of a translation.
- No packaged institutional licence or automatic cover-letter application bundle.
