Vitae Access: up to 100 CVs, no limit on languages

Vitae is the CV service for people who use an AI assistant. Your assistant writes and edits the CV over MCP; Vitae keeps it as JSON Resume, typesets it as a real PDF and publishes it at your own address. Vitae Access is one yearly subscription — the price above is in your currency ($24 a year in US dollars). It lifts the free plan, which holds one CV in up to four languages with 60 assistant calls a day, to 100 CVs with no language limit, and lifts the daily call allowance.

Why 100: people tailor a CV to the role — one for engineering posts, one for leadership roles, one in Norwegian for the local market. A translation is not a second CV; a document in ten languages counts once.

Included on every plan

  • A typeset PDF. Set by tectonic, the TeX engine that typesets our books — not printed from a browser. Ragged right, with the dates in a straight rail you can scan at a glance. PDFs are typeset in English and Norwegian today.
  • Language editions kept in parity. The Norwegian and the English are editions of one CV, and Vitae can check that they still match (the same roles, the same dates, the same ones still ongoing), so a translation does not quietly fall behind.
  • Your own address. Publish at vitae.publifye.com/your-name. Change the address, or retire a link you handed out, whenever you like.
  • Import what you already have. Give your assistant your old CV. An import can be staged first, so you see what would change before anything is replaced.
  • History. The last 365 edits of each language edition are kept by default: see what changed and when, and take back one edit or a whole afternoon of them.
  • An open format. Export the whole CV as JSON Resume, free. If you leave, your CV leaves with you.
  • A photo, if you want one. Choose edition by edition whether readers see it. Uploading a photo never publishes it.

Who can see your CV

A CV is either published or, for anyone but you, it does not exist, and a new one always starts unpublished. Published: anyone with the address can read the page and the PDF, with your email, phone and city — never your street address or postcode — and it is never offered to search engines. Not published: the page, the PDF and every link you handed out answer as if the address had never been used, at once, in every language. A copy someone already downloaded cannot be recalled.

Connecting your assistant

Add Vitae's address to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or any other MCP client and sign in once — no key to copy, nothing to install. The connector page has the setup for each client. Then just ask: “Import my CV and keep a Norwegian edition beside the English one.”

Billed yearly, because at this price a monthly charge would lose about a fifth of itself to card fees. Cancel any time; your documents stay yours.

One CV, two languages, kept in step

Ingrid Solhaug's CV exists in Norwegian and English as two editions of one document. Vitae checks that the editions still match, so the translation does not quietly fall behind the original. PDFs are typeset in English and Norwegian today.

Why would I pay for a CV tool?
Because of what you get to keep. Most CV tools hold your working life in their format and hand back a PDF that looks like a web page printed badly. Vitae keeps yours as JSON Resume — an open format you can take somewhere else on the day you decide to — and typesets it properly. It is $24 a year in US dollars — the store shows your local price — billed once a year.
What does $24 a year cover?
Up to 100 CVs, with no limit on languages, authored and rendered through MCP by the AI you already use — it signs in once through Publifye, with no key to copy. A translation does not count as a second CV — a document in ten languages is still one. Versions, controlled sharing and language parity are included; there is no higher tier holding a feature back. The free plan holds one CV in up to four languages, so this is about how many documents you keep, not what you can do with them.

Can I use it with the AI I already use?
Yes. Vitae is an MCP server, so it plugs into your existing assistant rather than asking you to learn another editor. You describe the change and it edits the document; the file stays structured underneath.
